My love for stories, from the time I was a child, extended into visual storytelling when I saw my first film - Babe: Pig in the City - at the age of 7. For me, movies are magical portals of escape, that deeply influence our pop culture. I believe that it is incredibly important to ensure that the stories we tell on screen represent the diversity of the world we inhabit, and the range of human experiences. As a director, I am passionate about helping tell underrepresented stories, making full use of the range of visual techniques available to us today.

My short films have been selected and screened at the Big Apple Film Festival, Voices Rising Film Festival in New York, the New York Lift Off Film Festival, the New York International Women Festival (winning Best Director), iWomanTV 7th Annual Online Shorts Festival (winning Best All Female Cast), the DC South Asian Film Festival and the Chicago South Asian Film Festival, and been a finalist for the New York International Film Awards and a semi-finalist for the London Women's Film Festival and the Dumbo Film Festival.
